The Botany Bay Yacht Club was founded in 1964, since then it has been actively promoting the sport of sailing.

The club is a not-for-profit company – run by members for members.

Welcome to the Botany Bay Yacht Club! We're a volunteer sailing club, racing and cruising keel boats on the enclosed waters of Botany Bay, Kogarah Bay and the Georges River.

Saturday Afternoon Racing - Winter Series Results are In

The final race of the Winter Series was battled out on Sat 22 July in very light and often unpredictable wind shifts. It was great to see a solid turnout from the fleet to end the season, especially our one catamaran entry 'BOB'.

Congratulations to the following boats and crew for their podium results over a very solid and closely contested season of racing, where only 6 handicap points separated the top five competitors:

1st - Rhumbline IV - Warren Eggins / Charles Marussich - 18 points
(An exciting win on countback after 2 drops)

2nd - Stingray - 18 points - Greg Lerond
3rd - Infinity - 21 points - Tony Brauer

Spring racing starts up on Saturday, 9th September.

Time to use your down time to get all boats and crew ready for an exciting new season. Happy sailing!
